Dr. Michelle Wiberg is now offering canine TCI (Transcervical Insemination) service as well as additional canine reproductive services including same day progesterone testing, vaginal cytology, brucellosis testing, pregnancy confirmation ultrasound and puppy count digital X-rays, semen collection for side by side insemination and cooled semen shipping.

Dr. Wiberg joined Blue Sky in 2022 after working primarily as an equine general practitioner for the past 10 years. She has over a decade of equine reproductive experience as well as her personal canine breeding program. Growing up, Dr. Wiberg’s family bred, raised and showed Lhasa Apso’s. As an adult, Dr. Wiberg and her husband became involved with German Shorthair Pointers. They started their breeding program in 2016 and have continued to produce dogs that compete successfully in conformation, performance and hunting. Dr. Wiberg quickly developed a passion for canine reproduction and is very excited to have trained in canine TCI and build the reproduction program at Blue Sky.

Blue Sky Animal Hospital is excited to have launched our canine reproductive services this spring. Please keep in mind we are still in the first stages and are working on developing our protocols, and building the services offered. We look forward to expanding our services as our reproduction practice grows.
