Practice Medicine With a Team Behind You
Blue Sky Animal Hospital is looking for a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join our experienced, collaborative medical team.
During your clinical shifts, you will work alongside one or two other veterinarians. This is a true multi-doctor environment—you will not routinely be expected to manage the hospital and its caseload alone.
You will also have the support of credentialed veterinary technicians, experienced veterinary assistants, client-service professionals, and an established leadership team. Our goal is to give our doctors the people, equipment, and operational support they need to focus on practicing medicine and caring for patients.
About Blue Sky Animal Hospital
Blue Sky Animal Hospital is a full-service veterinary hospital serving dogs, cats, and their families in Wyoming, Minnesota, and the surrounding communities.
For more than 30 years, we have built lasting relationships with local pet owners through dependable medicine, compassionate care, and clear communication.

- Pain management and mobility care
- Acupuncture and therapeutic laser treatment

Surgical experience is preferred, but it is not required. We are open to a veterinarian whose role is primarily focused on appointments, diagnostics, dentistry, and medical case management.
Participation in surgery or specialized services can be based on your training, experience, professional interests, and comfort level.
Technology and Clinical Resources
Our hospital provides modern diagnostic, dental, surgical, and patient-monitoring resources, including:
- Digital radiography
- Digital dental radiography
- Wisonic ultrasound
- In-house laboratory analyzers
- Surgical and anesthetic monitoring equipment

- Work effectively with technicians, assistants, and client-service professionals

Schedule
This is a full-time position structured for approximately 32–40 hours per week.
Our regular hospital hours are:
- Monday–Friday: 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
- Saturday: 8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
- Sunday: Closed
The position includes rotating Saturday mornings. After-hours emergencies are referred to the Animal Emergency & Referral Center of Minnesota rather than managed through a routine overnight hospital schedule.
Specific scheduling arrangements will be discussed based on hospital needs and your preferred number of weekly hours.
Compensation
Expected annual compensation ranges from $125,000 to $200,000.
The position uses a ProSal compensation model, with a production percentage of 20%–22%, depending on experience.
Actual compensation will depend on factors such as:
- Agreed-upon schedule and weekly hours
- Individual production
- Professional experience
- Scope of clinical responsibilities
- Agreed-upon ProSal percentage
The upper portion of the compensation range generally reflects a doctor working closer to 40 hours per week, achieving stronger production, and performing some surgical procedures.
Surgery is not required to be considered for this position.
