Services Urgent Care
Blue Sky Animal Hospital offers urgent care appointments during our regular business hours: Monday–Friday: 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Saturday: 8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
Urgent care appointments are limited and subject to availability. If your pet is experiencing a sudden illness or injury, please call us before coming to the hospital. Our team will assess your pet's needs and determine whether we are able to accommodate them based on the urgency of their condition, our current appointment schedule, and available hospital capacity.
When an immediate appointment is not available, we may sometimes be able to offer a same-day drop-off option. With this arrangement, your pet remains safely in our care until a veterinarian is available to perform an examination. We will contact you after the examination to discuss findings, recommendations, estimated costs, and obtain authorization before proceeding with treatment.
Calling ahead or dropping off your pet does not guarantee that we will be able to provide same-day care. If our schedule or hospital capacity does not allow us to safely accommodate your pet, we may recommend evaluation at an emergency veterinary hospital.

Friendly, caring staff and amazing veterinarians!
My parents went to Dr. Johnson and Blue Sky over 30 years ago before I was even born. They bred and raised German shorthair pointers and he helped with everything from check ups to pregnancy. Later in life when we had to put our childhood dog to sleep, he came to our home to do it. Fast forward to now and I take all 3 of my cats there and I would never go anywhere else. Dr. Johnson is knowledgeable and down to earth. He’s great with animals and helpful with pet ownership. I’ve seen several other veterinarians there too without any issues. I’ve also gone to other clinics in the area before in a pinch and regret it. The experience was nothing like Blue Sky. The rest of the staff are also very kind and make you feel welcome. The clinic has that perfect small town vibe and they treat you like family instead of just another person who they’re making money off of. I’ve recommended Blue Sky to sooooo many people. You’ll definitely feel satisfied if you put your pets in their care.
